I am looking for a system wide solution to eliminate audio ground loop hum. I have tried cheater plugs and yes they work, but I have also read that this is not safe. I have also tried a $15 Radio Shack ground loop isolator (part number 270-054A) and it works on one component. This is a cheap interconnect with a black cylinder in the middle. Do these degrade the signal in any way? Are there any available within a higher quality interconnect? Are there other solutions? Suggestions appreciated. Thanks, Al
