A funny thing happed the other night, courtesy of a cameraperson's mastake.
While watching the 6:00PM news the other night, There was one report that looked rather strange to me- everything elongated height-wise. I joked with my wife that the news was now going anamorphic.
She suggested that I switch to 16:9 mode just to see if it fixed everything- so I did!!!
What a laugh- the proper aspect ratio restored and higher resolution to boot- but just for one report (darn, it actually looked quite good!). The local news anchor is ugly enough- Anamorphic made him have the facial structure of Ernie from Sesame Street!!!
Just a note to you people who are REALLY, REALLY bored!!!
