Panasonic TV CT-36SF35 intermittent audible pop and white flashI have a Panasonic CT-36SF35 direct view 36†SuperFlat television that intermittently “pops†after start up. There is a visible, white flash and an audible “pop†that happens intermittently after the set is first turned on. This can continue for one or two “pops†or more than ten. Weeks have gone by with no “pops†only for them to start again for no apparent reason. The set is under an extended warranty and has been into the repair shop twice but there has been no change in the problem. The repair shop claims to have replaced the deflection board and added insulation. It’s not clear to me that they have ever witnessed the symptom. It has become very annoying.
I would appreciate any advise so I can tell the repair shop what to do the third time around.
