have a denon dvd-800...should i upgrade to marantz dv4200 or wait for high def. to come down in $$$$

subject says it all. will the entry level marantz be that much better or should i wait for more advanced tech to come down in price...such as progressive scan (the tvs are too much for me right now) or high definintion.
