Hi,I am interested in buying a new mid-sized (20 or 24 inch) TV for regular use and watching DVDs. I have been waiting for the cutting edge technology of the slim, flat and wide screen monitors (like the Philips and Sony plasmas) to trickle down to (relatively) affordable consumer versions. I wondered if anyone had any recommendations about any products available now or if I should wait it out a bit longer. I recently saw a photo of the new Sharp Aquos LCD 20-inch flat panel. It looked great and I think sells for about $2200? Are there any reviews or other technical stuff to consider (like HDTV or component video connections).
I am not really a home theater nut, but I have (through recommendations on AudioAsylum) compiled a nice little audio system and wanted to add a T.V. with good picture for use with a not-yet purchased DVD player. I currently run the audio on my T.V. through my audio system. (2-channel).
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
