I worked at a TV store part time in high school, my Boss didn't like my hair so he gave me some money and told me to go to the barber shop on the adjacent street.
It was an Italian barber shop Vito and Pinno's (I had never had anyone other than my mom cut my hair before) and i said "my boss said i need a haircut" and he said i fix you up! in a heavy accent.

He did, i possibly looked good if i had been in Italy, i now had pointy side burns which i had never seen before too.

I walked back in the store and my boss Mr Reynolds (certainly one of the best i ever had) said "oh....ah... Tom I am sorry".
