Even tube/vinyl diehard Ken Micallef absolutely loved this thing!
I would not have imagined such praise for a digital amplifier - especially for the phono section of one, that converts analog to digital.
I'd be dying to get one save two things:
- I tried the little brother SU-G700 for a full month a few years ago and a Hegel H360 beat it. A DirectStream into the Hegel destroyed the Technics.
- I can't use an integrated amp in my bi-amping setup.
Sadly, though, I don't think I even tried the phono preamp, not believing it could possibly compete with a competent dedicated unit. (I think I was using an EAR MC4 SUT into a Slee MM preamp then.)
Still, intrigued.
