Narnia: Prince Caspian

In this case, Roger Moore, the Orlando Sentinal reviewer, was right, and this movie is at least as bad as he claimed. Dark, plodding plot, wooden acting, utterly lacking in the charm and engaging story of the first movie.
I thought it was impossible for Disney to blow a successful franchise after like this, but, by golly, I believe they have done it! Midway through the movie I was saying to myself "Do I care the least about these charaters or the situation they are in?" NOT! Even the computer-generated animals had trouble getting into the story, and that is saying something for a Disney movie!
When, early in the movie, the dwarf announces that "You may find Narnia to be a darker and more foreboding place than you remembered" I should have high tailed it out of there (along with the computerized mice, who were the most interesting characters in the entire movie)!
A complete waste of 146 minutes--I managed to sit through it, but barely. THe audience was sparse for a Disney opener on a Saturday afternoon--they must have paid attention to the Friday review.
