Watched it today with the girls, the Wife and Daughter

I did like it, but I have read the books. I'd say if you haven't read the books than you wouldn't be interested.

I started reading Stephanie Meyers's Twilight books because they were such a big deal in my teenage daughter's life. She read them over and over and talked all the time about them. I thought if I read them then I would have more in common with my daughter. Well, it worked. And I did enjoy the books for the most part. I have spoken to her at length concerning the books and how they mimic real life as in feelings for a guy and what breakups are like etc. Of course if my daughter ever meets a real vampire she will know what to expect. Cough, cough.

Being an aspiring author, I am greatly encouraged by "average Joe's" that write and book and become rich and famous, IE Stephanie Meyers and has anyone heard of J. K. Rowling?

I have a book I have written online awaiting me to learn the craft of writing better so I can re-write it. I am presently in the early stages of writing four other books.
