I know people who live with no computer, cable or email

One of them is my gunsmith - he is so old-fashioned, he uses phone to communicate!

You can't blame Comcast for giving the populous what it needs - mindless sport and dumb movies 24 hours a day. They would not make money off you and my gunsmith. I know of some people with very, very low income who pay well over $200 a month for their cable. Add to this the obligatory iPhone, etc and you are in the $300-400 a month territory, just for garbage.

My wife bitched and managed to get our Comcast bill down to $105... with very few channels.
