Or any of us really. I have one bulb on standby, and when I use that, I'll probably buy another. Forget the warranty, stock up. I don't know about the qualia, but for many of us, I suspect they'll make bulbs for at least another year, since they are still selling the TVs. Luckily, I'm still on my original bulb, and its been over 2 years. If my second one lasts that long, I'll probably be ready for a new TV when it goes.
BTW, Sony lost a class action law suite over the '05 SXRD1 TVs-probably one of the reasons they are dropping RPTVs.
