Oppo BDP-83?

I'm not a " Oppo-fanboy" but I've been very happy with my Oppo BDP-83, its our second Oppo. Yesterday was the first time I had an issue with it not able to play a disk, it was the new Ponyo BD.
This weekend I'll do the softwear upgrade via Oppo home page.
The BDP-83 is expensive (for our budget)but has great sound and picture IMO.
My two and seven year old boys use it every day.
