Looks like Gefen has something that might work

Gefen GTV-HDMI-2-HDMIAUD:
http://www.gefen.com/kvm/dproduct.jsp?prod_id=9164

Although, I don't know what this means (from the manual):

"It only supports Hi Res Audio via HDMI. It does not decode Hi Res Audio."

I can get audio and video just fine from pc to tv. But if I try to use both HDMI and the pc analog outputs at the same time, Windows shuts off the HDMI audio - it's like plugging headphones into an amplifier that automatically shuts off the speakers.

The tv has no analog outputs, and the preamp has no digital inputs, so connecting them is out of the question without some type of converter between them. And since I can't get both HDMI audio and analog audio out of the pc -simultaneously- it looks like I need to convert the HDMI audio to analog with some type of converter.
