I have the impression, rightly or wrongly, that he mostly likes foreign films few people have ever heard of while loathing most Hollywood films; I'm a bit surprised by his attitude regarding this German classic though. Oh well, in spite of what may appear to be crankiness, he means well. :o)BTW, I'm with you: "M" is one heck of a flick and Fritz Lang is an excellent director; I'd wager that your praise of the film was well received by most folks around here.
