The latest film by Eric Rohmer - we saw it today.
A marvelous and stylish account of the times of turmoil of French Revolution. Incredibly enjoyable, and long - at over two hours.
Woderful use of painted backdrops to recreate the atmosphere that actually works incredibly well - I don't recall any other film that did it so effectively.
Highly recommended to those tired of Star Wars and ray guns.
Last night watched Love in the City, with segments done by Fellini and others. Wonderful.
