Home Films/DVD Asylum

Movies from comedy to drama to your favorite Hollyweird Star.

I think it was either Patrick or Dmitry

Good film, but I thought where Kolya simply told a simple story, this one attempted to go further, without being too prepared.

I loved the Spitfires, and the whole story about the brave struggle of the British, whipping badly the Luftwaffe's ass, is too important to anyone familiar with the Battle of Britain to not resonate strongly.

In some sense, to me that became like a sun blinding you of the rest of the story.

While I always separate the story from the means, there were several weak moments that I found distracting. On the other hand, it also had several rather interesting touches to more than compensate for these.

I love the fact Sverak is there making movies like that, he is a talented guy who will learn to do it even better.

I presume by sad ending you mean Karel's death...
