Home Films/DVD Asylum

Movies from comedy to drama to your favorite Hollyweird Star.

Does anyone know why they don't release great movies to DVD?

I would like the inside scoop.

I have been hunting for three FANTASTIC, relatively recent hit shows, and they are not offered on DVD--what's up?

1) High Art--w/Ally Sheedy, Intense phsycological movie about a lesbian relationship intermingled with bohemian drug scene--acting is some of the best I've seen. Wether you're familiar with the lifestyle or not, this movie will move you, haunt you even.

2)Glorius --w/Eddie Izzard--his stand up routine is classy and showy, intelligent, and very tough to beat, and he's easy on the eyes if you know what I mean--Kind of like "Dennis Miller meets Malcom McDowell in a Clockwork Orange."

3)Brain Candy w/Kids in the Hall Canadian Comedy Troupe, this movie spoofs the American pharmaceutical companies marketing of the "get better quick and take a pill for every problem--and in the meantime fuel a gazillion dollar industry scheme." Whew, that was a mouthfull!
