Market, that can't be it--it's very cheap to produce dvd's -if you can get the video--why not the dvd?I remember when cd's first came out, and I couldn't get Joan Jett and Adam Ant albums on cd, they said the same thing, rights to the titles were in litigation because the owner died (something to that effect).
It seems people would work these things out quickly--to make a buck or two? Everyone wins a little vs no one gets thing (for dvd sales).
