Final scene in film:
:
Woman is driving down a twisty mountain road, one side is a sheer cliff, other side is the mountain. Snow has been plowed from road, & what hasn't been pushed over the cliffs, is piled along the edge.
Everything has been normal during the driving scene--then they do a closeup as her eyes grow wide with terror, and camera snaps to view of carlights in the distance.
She screams (one of those "makes your hair stand on end" types), violently wrenches steering wheel to left & car go's over cliff.
The driver of the other car stops, jumps out, runs to the cliff, looks over the edge, runs back to his car and as he turns the car around to head back the way he'd came, the movie ends.
:
Anyone remember this film? Seems to me it had something to do with a murder, but whether the woman who drove over the cliff was a suspect or not I don't know.
For some reason that final scene "stuck" with me, even tho' its been years since I saw it on TV, & the rest of the film is pretty hazy in my memory.
