Just received the video....
It starts like My fair Lady...And one of the actresse look like Audrey.
Then it is a mixed up...A prise of Bunuel...A little bit of Bergman.
Bassically it is not a film, at the antipode of a road movie, it is pure theater, the quality of the film is technically gorgeous, the sound is perfect, this a comedie who is a tragedie, a Parapluie de Cherbourg, who turns bad...A kind of sexual madness....
The film is well played, but it is a flop.
Save the last scene, but this one is reserved for frenchman, as the old actresse Danielle Darrieux sing an old song written by Aragon, a communist poet, and was sung at the time from G. Brassens.
One of the most beautiful and sad song, ever; for you, think of Billie Holliday.
Il n´y a pas d´amour heureux.......
