The creepy atmospherics kick in from the first scenes and the hairs on the back of your neck stay on alert thereafter. My teenage daughter saw The Ring on the big screen when it came out in '99 and it scared the bejeezus out of her, and she is not the nervous type
"You've just got to see this" she said, handing me the video. Kids can be so cruel...
Beaming in at a dark psychological level like a Hitchcock film (but without his humor) and guaranteed to replay in your dreams
Hope they make more like them, terrifying and fascinating
