Blockbusters has been supremely disappointing for about 5 years now, ever since dvd's became popular. It has always been a nessessary evil...but I can't even shop there anymore. They are a perfect example of a company that went haywire with diversification.
SAME SIZE STORE, that used to only RENT videos (maybe sell a few previewed once and a while) NOW RENTS and SELLS all major game machine cartridges, videos, dvd's, and sells toys, candy, and other crap. You can only find the MOST popular movies there, nothing more, and forget about foreign films. We have to buy everything we want to see off the internet.
Is it the same in tother areas?
