Yeah, I know, corny, corny...Actually, last night was the first time I saw it in its entirety. Before it's been all bits and pieces.
The reason? Why, simple... it was in HDTV on ABC.
They always mention the beautiful color photography of that film, and most of us have never had chance to experience it, as many have only seen it on our regular TV'.
Take my word - it is BREATHTAKING in HDTV. Enough so that I dropped everything and watched the whlle corny thing.
My dream now is to catch My Fair Lady in HDTV. And then - Barry Lyndon. Then I'll be a happy man. I may even stop watching those VHS tapes...
