Re: Why do I love Spielberg´s "Minority Report"

One can't see this film, and not "see", it's just, a very little, like Truffaut's "Farenheit 451"....but much better, much more filled out story wise, and less drearily intellectual...like one of those books that's getting memorized. It's a mere excercise in Film, by Truffaut. You forget about the similarities and enjoy it viscerily.

Speilberg's film design really opens up the concept more, giving one the sense of the nightmare of this normal world Cruise's character lives and works in, and gets the director's sense of helplessness that is conveyed strongly here.

Good film, even under repeated viewings. Too bad the critics get much fun out of "gunning" for Steven, and forget about the film he made.
