LOL! My "live" is far from boring & I have a great deal of respect for folks with a broadband IQ.

Now that we've gotten the "formal" introductions out of the way and established that your sense of humor doesn't extend to movies with pacing only a snail could appreciate let's try to establish a dialogue, shall we? First of all, in the future it would behoove you to do a little more research into the professional, film and literary background of your target of opportunity before making insinuations about his or her intellectual capacity.

Allow me to save you a little time: I'm an artist in the SF community, know personally many of authors whose works or the Cliff Notes of whose works you may have read; I'm also a film connoisseur of sorts, although some around here will probably differ with that opinion. My tastes may not be on the same level as your's, but what the hey, you can always aspire, can't you? Oh, and BTW, it also occurs to me that my wife found the Tarkovsky Solaris a sleep inducing exercise, and she's a movie aficionado like myself, not to mention a published author with 8 novels to her credit in the fantasy/SF/horror genre.

What more can one say? *shrug* I guess that those of us who are in your eyes "intellecually challenged" will never appreciate Solaris as you have, but you've got to admit that it's kind of amazing what folks can accomplish with an IQ of 40 these days; it's rumoured that some with even less "smarts" have become successful politicians! ;^)
