I've tried to like this movie, but it just comes across as clumsily written & acted. Even the fleeting shots of aliens weren't compelling. Considering the fact that I found both of M. Night Shyamalan's previous "shock" films exceptional (i.e., Unbroken & The Sixth Sense) only adds to the disappointment that this one just doesn't work the way it was intended.AuPh
