I enjoyed the movie as a re-working of a classic family struggle, but as far as "dad"--he sure didn't seem like the type. Maybe that was the point of the film, only there wasn't enough convincing development. Wilkinson did deserve his accolades, though.Maybe I need to see it a second time.
