...about giving an award to a criminal on the run.Face it - perhaps the majority of nominations are for some "socially significant" works - all those Brokovitches, Moores, Philadelphias, etc, etc, etc, so it is not really about art anymore.
Taken from that perspective giving an award to a rapist can't be considered right. I am not for prohibiting his works, but celebrating the man seems wrong.
