Enjoyed it greatly. The thing moves along at a proper clip. Of course you have to not dislike melodrama, but you're not expecting tragedy, right?Colin Farrell is the impressive highlight. His portrayal of a man undergoing abject humiliation is faultless and (thanks to great technical management) seamless over the one-hour period of his outdoors incarceration, which must have taken days to shoot.
Also he plays without any apparent makeup, allowing his naturally pasty complexion to make him look quite unglamorous.
Smaller roles are skillfully handled and the whores are a hoot. Only one plothole appears, but sufficiently towards the end that it won't interrupt the momentum.
