We'll see if this time I actually get to see Donnie Darko - last time I rented it, I never had time. In the meantime, a much needed Bergman fix, "Autumn Sonata". Not exactly his best work, but a definite refreshment from the likes of "Two Weeks Notice", et al. Liv and Ingrid directed by Ingmar - should be a materpiece, but I was left a little unfulilled. Maybe one has to be a mother or daughter to fully connect. Still, pretty amazing how good a "near miss' is from a master.
