Love,actually

Hi,
I need to tell you about patchwork quilts. Bear with me for a moment, it's part of the movie. Women used to save old clothes and such in bags. On long winter nights, they would sew them into bedsized sheets. Two would be sewn together around an insulating material to form a quilt. Such quilts were part love, part thrift, a dash of history told by the memories the patches would invoke. They were the stuff of life. They were odds and ends turned into something new. The movie is a patchwork quilt, when you see the last scene, you will understand that. But since most of you came after the time when everyone made and had such things; i wanted you to know.
I liked the movie. It steals good scenes from dozens of movies, that is it's main strength. But don't expect 'art' or Bergman, or even plausiblity..... But if you want a lovely, funny movie to take the Missus to; this is nice.
