We generally avoid movies from the 1930's but looked at "The Three" starring Merle Oberon last night. The print quality (taped from satellite) was quite good but the sound was pretty awful & shrill. The acting was variable & makes you realise just how far modern actors have come.I did a search on Merle Oberon. One site still incorrectly gives her birthplace as Tasmania, Australia, where we live while in fact it was Bombay with Merle 75% Indian & 25% Irish.
