Peter Sellers was one of the great characters in movie history. What a splendidly special performer he was. He could be screamingly funny, as in THE PINK PANTHER. He could make you cry, as in BEING THERE. And he could make you laugh whilst scaring the hell out of you, ala DR. STRANGELOVE. Nothing is scarier than a good political satire. No one was better at it than Peter Sellers.
