"The Big Chill" was made with a much higher budget and isn't a remake of "The Return of the Secacus Seven." I really like both flicks but would pick "Secacus 7" as the superior effort. That may be because I am a bit put off by all the yuppie angst in "Big Chill." Still, it still gets to me and I guess yuppies angst does exist.Besides, "Big Chill" has Mary Kay Place, whom I have always been a huge fan of. She's a very fine actress and incredibly beautiful. And most of the rest of the cast is great. Mr. Kostner has the role of his life. He's a little less "wooden" than usual and is much more believable playing a dead guy than, say, when he was Robin Hood or Wyatt Earp.
