Movies from comedy to drama to your favorite Hollyweird Star.

Good, but not great.

As a period piece, it was outstanding as a depiction of US life in the 30's. One of the best in that regard.
As a story, it seems historically accurate. The end scripts told the outcomes of the players involved.
As acted, I think Costner and Harrelson really overdid the "old man mumbling" thing. I couldn't figure half of what they said.
As scripted, I couldn't follow half of the clues they worked on, and the movie was painfully slow and drawn out.

Overall, I think its a good film, mostly because of the times portrayed, and for the story of Frank Hamer and Maney Gault. These are some historic dudes that people should know about. We don't get to know Bonnie and Clyde except through the perceptions of others. The Washington Post called them the Depression-era Kardashians: A source of public fascination. Movie postscripts stated that 20,000 people attended Bonnie's funeral; 15,000 attended Clyde's.
