Cat On A Hot Tin Roof... An all-star cast with Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Newman (BOTH at the height of their beauty) Burl Ives, Judith Andersen, Jack Carson and Madeleine Sherwood in Tennesee Williams classic tale.. Directed by Richard Brooks, a wonderful jazzy score by Charles Wolcott it was nominated for 6 Academy Awards. Elizabeth Taylor should have won the Oscar for her portrayal of Maggie rather than for Butterfield 8.... It's one of my VERY favorite films....
