It is inevitable, the way the story is told in, "The Mule," for one to want Clint to triumph over those terrible, terrible Latino drug dealers. His mild sentencing indeed shows there is a wide disparity in drug case sentencing.
Yeah, it's a good movie. But you kind of have to check your values at the door.
