If you have the interest, some say "junior bonner". a modern rodeo flick, was his best work, and the film is a good one.
Gear heads apparently think the guy was real special, probably because he had the taste and money to run some cool cars. His "D" type jag , might be a"C", can be seen at the Petersen museum in la.
I forget how many millions the bullet car went for, because Steve mcQueen touched it, said to be one of his personal rides. I saw it at the car show, set behind barriers. IT was just another mustang that had seen better days , nothing special, plus, like all movie cars, all shine was removed.
His ex wife attended a question and answer I attended, she is living out in New Mexico, out in the four corners area, and jokingly said that every other person around they're feels they are some kind of a shaman. She was in town promoting an independent biographical film from her area about a cowboy who believed he is 1, 000 years old, via various bodies. He wrote western novels and a few screen plays, most famously "the rounders". Life a heck of a life, full western style.
