Eva Green and Alicia Vikander are estranged sisters who come together for a reunion. They meet at a nice hotel and then catch a limo to the middle of nowhere. The limo stops and they grab their bags and walk into the wood where they are met by Charlotte Rampling who leads them to a luxurious estate. Finally, it dawns on Vikander that this is an assisted suicide resort and Green confesses she's terminal.
The rest of the film is a testament to the emotional conflicts and up-and-downs people go through in this situation. This was Green's film. She looks terrific as a dying woman and her performance overshadowed all else. Other words, Eva got the good part and rose to it.
Charles Dance provides a brief sideshow that is mildly amusing in a macabre way.
Beautifully filmed and directed.
