by way of Netflix comes, what else, a dystopian thriller featuring the de rigeur middle-aged drunk cop with maladjusted teen daughter (redundant?). But wait, the strange series of teen murders he's tasked with solving aren't sexually motivated.
These sorts of series rise-and-fall on the acting: the lead guy is disheveled, un-charismatic, and riveting. It doesn't hurt, of course, to have bevies of beautiful Polish young women heavily present--- yet those two factors alone aren't the reasons to watch: the writing keeps you guessing, it's disturbingly complex but the plot revolves enough to refresh your memory and keep you up to speed.
Of course, being Poland, there are Nazis! And WWII secrets that the town would rather cease existing than have exposed...
