the usual formula, but the factual stories of the actual crimes are horribly interesting, to me. Pretty much each one has a twist that is stranger than fiction, often with a perp you didn't see--- even though you're aware of the show's title. Makin' it through the second season and it's just as good--- 4-out-of-5 star series for the true-life who-dunnit fan.
