Well, Frank Grillo didn't make it to this one. There wasn't quite as much violence. Plenty of bemoaning the state of the nation while using undocumented Mexicans in heroic positions helping a rich Texan family escape other enraged Texans carrying out the forever purge. (If you weren't white you were as good as dead.)
This one actually had character development. Plus, a few notables in attendance: Will Patton, Josh Lucas, and a good supporting cast. Lucas was the hard-nosed son who pushed around his Mexican help but mended his ways by the last scene, naturally. This film is a CRT pep rally so prepare the cheer or choke depending on your POV,
