Wow. I just finished my fifth movie by this director who I believe is very underappreciated outside of Japan. All five have been excellent, but my favorites so far are She Was Like a Wild Chrysanthemum and A Legend,or Was It?

Criterion is streaming over 40 of his films and I feel like I'm going down a rabbit hole!
