and Jesse was an implausible one at that. Poor Kirsten was certainly desperate to hitch her wagon to him. Now, what was Campion's deal with creating an unrealistically gay young man in the Olde West? I guess it was a feel-good for the woke old west lovers. I almost didn't watch it until it was mentioned here.
The idea this is up for any Oscar is astounding but I'm terribly unwoke and don't vote in the Academy.
