The beautiful wife of a German diplomat becomes attracted to a young Japanese girl in her art class. One thing leads to another and a torrid affair begins between them (and others). The era of the film is interesting in that there was no overt political symbolism.

Though it was made in 1986, this copy looks intentionally aged to meet the timeframe. Don't judge it by the trailer.
