Jennifer Lawrence stars as a combat veteran recovering from a traumatic brain injury while reconnecting with civilian life in her hometown (NOLA). She befriends Brian Tyree Henry ("Paper Boi" on Atlanta). This is a low-key, moving character/relationship piece. It is not a war movie (no combat scenes). It is easily the best movie I saw this year.
