'Bones And All': Not every novel should be a film . .

On a Saturday afternoon, I was wondering why I was the only person in the theater. About ten minutes after it started I realized why. There are some serious stomach-churning scenes in this ode to cannibalism.

Somebody believed in this project as demonstrated by the cast. There were enough heavyweight thespians sprinkled throughout that would seemingly tag it for awards season. Eg. Micheal Stuhlberg played the most-inspired evil human since Dennis Hopper's Frank Booth. Rylance was the creepiest of the creeps and hard to watch.

Don't let your kids grow up to be cannibals. It's a tough life.
