This quasi-psychedelic horror show tortures the quarterback hopeful (Tyriq Withers) with intensive, twisted training exercises and injections that begin to meld reality with fantasy. His trainer (Marlon Wayans) is the quarterback that Withers wants to replace. Wayans wants Withers to transcend humanity to another whole level of existence as the greatest QB to ever live.

The film is filled with religious and demonic imagery that represent the prize and the cost of being the perfect QB. It is a very creative endeavour.

It looks that this one is getting mediocre reviews and admittedly, some of it is hard to watch. But, Marlon Wayans is so good as the mentor that I can imagine nomination whispers.

Not for the weak of tummy.
