He wasn't killing people until he was off the meds.
US is the only industrialized country without a universal healthcare system.
Funny thing is I have lived overseas for well over a decade in different countries and I have never come across an American who missed the US healthcare system - indeed most of them never want to return because they keep more money in their pockets and they get better health care on top.
Sometimes it's good to get out and live in other parts of the world to see stuff in action than just rely on news reports trying to convince you that a bad deal is a good deal.
