I didn't read any of the reviews prior to watching the first 5 episodes I have seen. I saw an ad for it on Instagram and jumped right in. I usually do read reviews to find quality content I might enjoy. This one I didn't. I wouldn't recommend it if I was on the fence about it. For me it's a delight.
